Roughly 15–20 percent of MIT students visit MIT Health’s Student Mental Health & Counseling Services every school year.

Mental health services outside of MIT Health will be covered by MIT SHIP or your student’s other comprehensive health insurance plan. Visit the MIT Student Insurance Office website to learn more about mental health coverage with MIT SHIP.
