Overview
Sports Medicine and Orthopedics is available for telehealth visits* and in-person appointments.
Sports Medicine and Orthopedics provides comprehensive, coordinated care for musculoskeletal and orthopedic issues that may affect your ability to participate in sports and all other aspects of your life.
Our services include evaluation and treatment of:
- Musculoskeletal issues such as stress or strain injuries, running injuries, and tendonitis
- Orthopedic concerns such as fractures, osteoarthritis, and spinal conditions
- Sports medicine, including concussion care and management, pre-participation exams for MIT athletes, and counseling on safely returning to sports after an illness or injury
*Because some states have laws restricting the provision of telehealth services across state lines, MIT Health’s telehealth services are available only to patients who are physically located in Massachusetts at the time of the appointment.
