Most MIT Health services are included with tuition, but sometimes you might need off-campus care. Visit the MIT Student Insurance office webpage to learn about the MIT Student Health Insurance Plan (MIT SHIP).

Learn what to tell your insurance company so they can ensure your privacy when bills are sent home to your parents and guardians. 

You can use HealthELife to securely send messages to your healthcare providers, have a video visit with a clinician, or view your test results and medical records.

All incoming students must complete the Student Medical Report Form, with no exceptions.

For most new students, a completed Student Medical Report Form will provide all the information we need.
 
 

MIT SHIP covers medical services you receive off campus, anywhere in the country.

MIT Health's Urgent Care Service is available 8 a.m.–8 p.m., M–F and 10 a.m.– 4 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays.

The Primary Care Service at MIT Health offers coordinated, high-quality, personalized care.
