When you are sick or injured

When you or your child needs to be treated or evaluated for an illness or injury, we will see you promptly. Our daily schedules always include open time for patients who need to be seen the same day.  

Overview

MIT Health’s Primary Care Service is available for telehealth visits* and in-person appointments, including same-day visits and chronic disease follow-ups. 

Our primary care team at MIT Health provides personalized, complete care for patients including:

  • Routine physicals
  • Diagnosis and treatment of illnesses
  • Management of chronic conditions
  • Routine health screenings
  • Preventive care
  • Care coordination
*Because some states have laws restricting the provision of telehealth services across state lines, MIT Health’s telehealth services are available only to patients who are physically located in Massachusetts at the time of the appointment.
