About Us

MIT Health is an ambulatory Care Center serving the 35,000+ members of the MIT community—including students, faculty, employees, retirees, and families. We manage some 100,000 visits every year, proudly continuing a tradition of caring that spans more than a century. Our clinical offerings encompass approximately 20 specialties, including dentistry, ophthalmology, adult primary care, family medicine, and primary care pediatrics, mental health and counseling, obstetrics, gynecology, and radiology. We also provide occupational and employee health services, community wellness programs, and seven-day-a-week urgent care.

The Optometric Technician assists the Optometrists and Ophthalmologists (Eye Care Providers) in obtaining clinical information from patients.

Medical Assistant, Urgent Care

The Medical Assistant (MA), Urgent Care is responsible for assisting physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nurses with evaluation, management, and treatment of patients. 

Registered Nurse, Allergy

The Registered Nurse, Allergy, provides direct patient care according to age-specific plans of care that is within the scope of practice of a registered nurse.

Registered Nurse, Primary Care

The Registered Nurse, Primary Care provides direct patient care according to age-specific plans of care that is within the scope of practice of a registered nurse.

Dental Hygienist

The Dental Hygienist provides appropriate dental care and oral hygiene instruction to patients.
