About Us

MIT Health is an ambulatory Care Center serving the 35,000+ members of the MIT community—including students, faculty, employees, retirees, and families. We manage some 100,000 visits every year, proudly continuing a tradition of caring that spans more than a century. Our clinical offerings encompass approximately 20 specialties, including dentistry, ophthalmology, adult primary care, family medicine, and primary care pediatrics, mental health and counseling, obstetrics, gynecology, and radiology. We also provide occupational and employee health services, community wellness programs, and seven-day-a-week urgent care.

The Medical Assistant (MA), Urgent Care is responsible for assisting physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nurses with evaluation, management, and treatment of patients during and between office visits and other tasks consistent with his / her training and skills.

The Registered Nurse, Student Health provides nursing care and executes clinical programs that improve the well-being and health literacy of the MIT student population.
