Quest Diagnostics at MIT Health is committed to accurately and efficiently providing test results for our patients.
Overview
The Quest Diagnostics location at MIT Health offers a full range of laboratory testing for the MIT community.
Testing includes: microbiology, hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, serology, phlebotomy, and more.
How to use the laboratory
Once your clinician has ordered your test with Quest Diagnostics, you can come to get your blood drawn or provide a sample at any time Monday–Friday during business hours. You can also visit any Quest Diagnostics location in the United States. No appointment necessary.
For patients at our Lexington Care Center, MIT Health staff will perform your blood draw and will send the sample to Quest for analysis.
Results
Most test results are available within 24 to 48 hours. To protect patient confidentiality, Quest reports test results directly to your clinician. Contact your provider for the results or with any other questions.
Who can use the laboratory
All MIT students, employees, faculty, retirees, and their spouses/partners are eligible to use Quest Diagnostics at MIT Health regardless of whether you receive your healthcare at MIT.
