To the MIT Community,
As part of MIT’s Institute-wide budget reductions, MIT Health has reconfigured its wellness programs. Going forward, MIT Health’s wellness offerings will focus on health-promotion activities for patients in direct support of our clinical operations and mission. At the same time, we have made the difficult decision to end our support for several Community Wellness programs, MIT Spouses & Partners Connect, Language Conversation Exchange, getfit, Step Your Way, and wellness classes.
We understand that the loss of these close-knit communities will be felt by participants and others across the Institute.
MIT continues to offer other helpful resources, and we encourage members of the MIT community to take advantage of these programs.
